After a week with rain every day, we welcomed a clear sunny sky just in time for our fundraiser yard sale! In fact, those who worked the sale left with sunburns or perfect farmer's tans. Today was a record-breaking day for neighborhood yard sales, church sales and flea markets in our community, so the bargain-hunters were out in full force. We praise God for allowing us to bring in $611 through today's sale! God continues to amaze us by his good and perfect gifts (James 1:17).

12 or so families who scoured closets and basements to donate great yard sale items; 4 ladies who helped price items and paint yard sale signs; 2 ladies who made delicious rice crispy treats & cookies to sell; several families who spent much of their Saturday setting up/tearing down, bartering (and for often staying brutally firm on prices!); friends and neighbors shopping at our sale; and to all who prayed for clear weather and lots of sales! Your outpouring of love is precious to us!
